1956 Gibson GA-6 Amplifier 12 watts 12" Jensen P12R 2 6V6's 12AX7!
1956 Gibson GA-6 amp. 12 watts with a 5Y3GT, Two 6V6 power tubes, one 6SL7, and one 12AX7. The tubes are all older tubes, no cheap tubes are in this example. Transformers are all original. Power cord replaced with a 3 way prong cord for safer use. Capacitors replaced where needed.. Original 12” Jensen P12R dated 220631, with Blue Bell Cover, has been professionally reconed. The thin paper like covering on these amps tends to not wear well, & this amp shows some wear marks visible in the photos. All vintage amps and the age of their electronic componets are sold on an "as is" basis. Even though old amps may have been serviced, it is still advisable to have them maintained by a professional due to their age.
