1961 Gibson GA-79 RVT. Formerly owned by Joe Bonamassa. This amp has a little wear and tear, but is in overall great condition. Original tweed is in good shape and the amp functions perfectly. The GA-79 was one of the most unique amps produced at the time and delivered a stereo sound originally created to pair with Gibson's stereo guitars of the time, including the ES-345 and ES-355. These are like two amps in one with two separate preamps each running into a separate speaker. Original 10" Jensen P10Q Alnico speakers. This amp has a round and smooth clean tone with a nice crunch when turned up. A very rare and cool piece from Gibson! Original footswitch included.
