Antique SunburstのHeritage Standard-80!!
1960年代後半からGibsonはローインピーダンスPUを搭載したLes Paul Recodingをはじめ、The Les PaulやLes Paul Artisanなどこ高級なルックスを持つモデルなどを発売していましたが、1970年代後半に美しいトラディショナルなLes Paulを取り戻そうという動きが出てきます。
そして作り上げられたのがHeritage Seriesです。
Heritage Seriesは80年から82年というわずかな期間のみ制作しており、Les Paulファンにも人気の高いモデルとなっています。
今回入荷したStandard-80はメイプルトップ/マホガニーバックのボディにマホガニーネック、ローズウッド指版といったトラディショナルなウッドマテリアルとなっていながらもネックは3ピースであったりペグはGroverタイプが搭載されていたりと当時のGibsonらしさも感じる事が出来る仕様となっています。
音にしっかりと厚みがありながらも各弦の輪郭をしっかりと表現してくれるハムサウンドは70年代からのGIbsonサウンドを踏襲します。
