Gibson HG-00 Conversion Guitar (used, circa 1940) 

  • Mahogany back & sides
  • Adirondack Spruce top under a traditional sunburst
  • Originally a Hawaiian slide guitar, it has been converted to regular steel string
  • X-braced top
  • Brazilian rosewood fretboard with Mother-of-Pearl dot markers
  • Hefty, V-profile neck & 1 7/8" nut width for those of you with larger hands
  • Bound top & back
  • Brazilian rosewood bridge with black plastic bridge pins
  • Original Klusen, open-back tuning machines with ivoroid buttons
  • Stable, repaired top center seam 
  • Stable, repaired side damage (see pictures)
  • Handsome, firestripe pickguard
  • Bone nut
  • Adjustable truss rod
  • Non original case
  • Dry, old-time, Loud tone
  • FON: ?04 F,  it may say  904 F

    We ship Fedex ground insured, unless otherwise specified by the buyer. On finer instruments, we insist on overnight shipment for safe handling. Buyer pays shipping unless otherwise agreed upon. International shipments are via FedEx.

    Must have prior approval of return. Opened strings are not returnable. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your guitar, simply return it fully insured (with prior authorization) via shipping method we agree upon. When we receive the instrument in the same condition as when we shipped it, you will happily be issued a refund minus all shipping costs.
