What a cool jumbo! Up for grabs a 1968 Gibson J-160E in sunburst. John Lennon famously used this model to write and record many hits for The Beatles in their early years. Songs such as “I want to hold you hand” “She loves you” and “All my love” were written using a J-160E. This jumbo acoustic is known for its special P-90 pick up that is built into the body of the guitar.

Mahogany Neck with a depth measuring .75″ at the first fret and 1.03″ at the 12th fret. 24.75″ Scale length. Bound rosewood finger board with a 12″ radius. The action measures 5/64″ straight across. Original 20 Jumbo frets are in very good condition. Ladder braced spruce top. Mahogany back and sides. Sunburst finish. Original top mounted P-90 pick up. It comes with a modern TKL hard shell case. If your looking for a killer rhythm guitar for the stage look no further! The J-160E defiantly sticks out and shines on stage. This is a great rhythm guitar. Nice punchy crisp chords. Good bass response that blends well with the punchy mids and crisp treble. The P-90 sounds rad, nothing but vintage tone. If your a Beatles fan or just need a great vintage rhythm machine this is the guitar for you.
