Description

This beautiful 1958 Gibson J-185 in its original Sunburst finish is just plain and simply a wonderful sounding instrument. This model did not last all that long, and was discontinued by Gibson in 1959, making these quite rare! In fact, Gibson records put total production of Sunburst J-185s from 1958 at only just 34! The overall appearance, wood grain, and craftsmanship throughout this piece is simply gorgeous, and the neck and body are a joy to hold. The maple back and sides provide a strong, punchy tone while also remaining warm and full at the same time. Overall, this piece was carefully maintained and still in great condition!

Overall Condition: 8.5, light wear to the back of the neck, general playwear, patina, weather checking
