2021 Gibson J-200 Studio Walnut Antique Natural

This 2021 Gibson J-200 Studio is in excellent condition. There are a couple of very small dings on the top treble side bottom of the body and a few faint pick scratches on the pickguard, but otherwise this instrument looks to have been played very little and is just exceptionally tidy. This example is stamped “Demo” on the back of the peghead and we purchased the guitar from a Gibson employee. This J-200 has an excellent feeling medium rounded C shaped neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. The neck is very comfortable in the hand and is easy to play. The fret wire shows no signs of wear and the instrument has been set up and plays exceptional up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The top is flat, the bridge is flat to the body, the compensated saddle is medium height and the truss rod is fully operational. The sides of this guitar are beautifully figured and it has a nice wide grained spruce top. This Gibson sounds fantastic and has a very articulate yet dry Gibson thump with plenty of volume. This guitar is also a very lively sounding example that excels with a flat pick and would make a very fine instrument for a singer/songwriter. The LR Baggs undersaddle pickup sounds impressive and quite natural making this an excellent option for live performance as well. This is a great playing and sounding American made flattop for a great price. This Gibson J-200 is housed in its original Gibson hard shell case that is also in excellent condition and will ship out promptly and securely from our little shop here in Tennessee to your front door.
