1939 Gibson J-35 Sunburst

This is a fantastic Gibson J-35, made in the USA in 1939. This guitar shows the wear that one would expect for a 80+ year old instrument, but it remains in excellent playing condition. There is one repaired back crack. When we got it the original bridge had cracked in half and pulled forward, scraping off some of the paint in front. It makes it look as if a belly bridge may have been on it at some point, but that is not the case. We were able to repair the original bridge, and no other bridge has been on this instrument. Aside from the bridge pins everything is original, even the frets. It has been pro-setup in our shop. This instrument sounds exceptionally good. It comes with the original case and rope strap in the pictures.

Guitars are shipped by Fedex ground unless other arrangements are made. Guitars are usually shipped within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer a 48 hour no questions asked return policy. If you don't like it, just send it back and we will issue a refund. We do not refund shipping charges and if you pay with a credit card there is a 5% restocking fee. If you pay with cash, check, paypal, or bank wire there is no restocking fee.
