2015 Gibson J-35 Antique Natural Acoustic/Electric

Excellent condition featuring round shouldered solid mahogany dreadnought body, solid Sitka spruce top, multiple bound top edges and single bound back edges, decorative soundhole rosette, single ply firestripe pickguard, rectangular rosewood bridge with compensated saddle and six white plastic bridge pins, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays starting at the third fret, 1930s Gibson open book peghead shape, black peghead face with gold script Gibson logo and "Only a Gibson is good enough" banner, single ply black plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, three per side vintage style Kluson tuning machines with white plastic buttons, LR Baggs pickup system with volume control in the soundhole and original Gibson branded black Tolex covered hard shell case and all case candy.

This 2015 Gibson J-35 is in overall excellent cosmetic condition showing no visible signs of play wear throughout. The clear protective film is still on the pickguard. The neck profile on this guitar is that of a medium chunky “C” shape with a 1 11/16" nut with and feels very good in hand. The frets are in immaculate condition showing no signs of play wear and have a ton of life left in them. This J-35 plays exceptional up and down the fingerboard. This guitar produces a very articulate, dry and even tone with plenty of top end and thumpy low end. This instrument also has a wonderful amount of power and volume and sounds great acoustically with heavy or light strumming allowing the player to have great control over the guitar and creating impressive dynamics. The Baggs pickup system is simple to use, sounds great and makes this guitar perfect for live performance. This Gibson flattop is housed in its original hard shell case and includes its original case candy and paperwork.
