1945 Gibson Banner Headstock J-45 Sunburst

Here's a 1945 Gibson Banner Headstock J-45. Wow does this guitar sing!! Absolute cannon, with exceptional playability. Spruce top, mahogany back & sides, Banner logo on headstock, and a fully functional truss rod. Big warm tone, with beautiful clarity and projection. It's very responsive to how you play. Big chunky No reissue can touch this! There's a tiny crack repair just below the soundhole, along left edge of the pick guard....no other top cracks beyond that. Then there's one small professionally repaired crack on lower side of the back, and a few more on the sides. All are repaired and completely stable. The guitar had a pickup at some point, as there's a hole where the input jack was. There was also a tailpiece on at some point, as visible by the 3 tiny holes at above the bottom strap button (see last set of pictures). The bridge has been replaced to a larger style bridge. Everything is solid, secure, and ready to go! Magical guitar. High quality aftermarket hard shell case included!
