1949 Gibson J-45 Sunburst

Just in from the family of the original owner, this incredible sounding 1949 J-45 is a perfect example of the Gibson flat top sound! With a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard, this guitar has the perfect balance of loud, dry projection with plenty of bottom end and a beautiful clarity that make these the perfect guitars for strumming or fingerstyle playing. These guitars really shine in a studio and can be heard on countless legendary albums. A replaced guard and a few professional repairs have insured this guitar is ready for its next half century of use.
