Description

Exceptionally fine 1950 Gibson J-45 slop shoulder acoustic guitars in it’s original sunburst finish. This guitar sounds absolutely stunning with rich and vibrant tone that has the huge lows these are known for and wonderful clear highs. What really sets this one apart from others on the market is that there are absolutely no cracks or repairs. None. No side, back, or top cracks. A large majority of Gibson flat tops that come through the shop generally have at least a few hairline cracks, this one does not. The neck has a nice a chunky 50s profile that fits well in your hand and is comfy all up and down the neck. The saddle on this flat-top is currently about as low as it can go with the action at 4mm on the bass side and 3mm on the treble side at the 12th fret. The action is comfortable but if you prefer very low action up top it will need a neck re-set. Professionally set up and comes with a Gibson hardshell case.
