For your consideration a 1951 Gibson J-45 with a Sunburst finish! J-45 the other dreadnought! From bluegrass to pop, the J-45 is an outstanding rhythm guitar! At 70 years old this guitar has seen some things but has all the repairs to keep to going and most importantly all the vintage appointments you just cant get anymore! Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge! Big mahogany neck (reset). Wonderfully aged Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. And a beautiful vintage Sunburst. Killer big J-45 tone, ready to lay down some mean rhythm tracks!

Specs!

This guitar is in good condition and comes with a non-original hard shell case. A tone bar was replaced. It’s had a neck reset. The bridge and bridge plate have been reglued. All the top cracks have been glued. 24.75″ scale length. Original 1-11/16″ nut. Original 3 plate tuners. Mahogany neck with a depth of .92 (1st fret) and 1.10″ (12th fret). Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. Action measures 5.5/64″ (bass side) and 4/64″ (treble side). 19 original small frets are currently in excellent condition. Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, sunburst finish. Brazilian rosewood reverse belly bridge with a non-original bone nute. Weighs 5 pounds and 4 ounces.
