Description

Here's a 1961 Gibson J-45 in Cherry Sunburst finish. 100% original guitar. Outstanding playing and sounding example. No breaks. Slope shoulder dreadnaught, with a spruce top, and mahogany back & sides. There are two professional repaired hairline cracks: one from the top of the bridge to bottom of the sound hole (along the edge of the pickguard), and the other along the edge of the pickguard above the sound hole. Both are completely structurally sound and not moving. Playability on this one exceptional! Straight neck, consistent low action, with good fret life left. 1 11/16" at the nut. Tonally the guitar is a canon! It's full, warm, clear, and delivers a classic vintage J-45 tone. This one is inspiring and hard to put down! OCB included...
