J-45", the royal model that continues the tradition of Gibson

Gibson / 2004 J-45

The J-45, the flagship model of Gibson acoustic guitars, was born in 1942. The J-45, which would later become a legend, was the successor to the J-35 (1936-1942), which followed in the footsteps of the Jumbo (1934-1936), the first Spanish-style round-shoulder model. It has been used by many artists including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Takuro Yoshida, Yousui Inoue, Masayoshi Yamazaki, Motohiro Hata, and many others in Japan.

This time, we have a 2004 model.
The small pickguard, Cruson type tuners with white buttons, and brown sunburst color with a little yellowish tint give the guitar the appearance of having been a part of Gibson's history.
The paint has a glossy texture, and the checkered finish is also quite austere.

After it arrived at our store, the neck was adjusted by a craftsman, the saddle was replaced with a new one made of ox bone, and the nut and saddle were fine-tuned.
This has improved the response, and the contours of the sound are now clear from the start of the sound.
The sound of this period was bright, bouncy, and energetic, or to explain it more simply, it had a somewhat hard impression, but this one has a very gentle and lustrous sound.

You may think it sounds unreliable, but it is still a Gibson, so it has plenty of volume, and is suitable for playing hard on chord strokes.

The comfortable sound makes you want to play it all the time and forget about the time.
It is also a great way to enjoy music as your guitar and singing both improve further.
