DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an exceptionally fine 1967 Gibson J-45 ADJ in its original and quite rare custom color Cherry Red finish. Similar to the finish you would see on SGs from the same era the cherry on this J-45 is still bright & bold and retains a fair amount of its color with little to no fade. As is common with most late 1960s J-45s this model features its original adjustable bridge and a slim 1 9/16th nut width with a comfy /slim neck profile. This example does have a factory 2nd stamp on the back of the headstock which means when it left the factory there was some finish flaw, which could have been a ding or dent. Given the guitar is over 50 years old it is impossible to tell what the original flaw was. That said, the guitar is exceptionally clean showing no breaks or repairs and little to no play wear. Included is the original sales receipt, owners manual, and some other cool case candy. This J-45 will come complete with its original soft case as well. Very cool and collectible guitar!
