2019 Gibson J-45 Walnut M Walnut Burst

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway dreadnought body shape, solid walnut back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top with Walnut Burst finish, multiple bound top edges and single bound back edges, decorative abalone soundhole rosette, tortoiseshell grain pickguard, richlite belly bridge with compensated saddle and white plastic bridge pins, maple neck, richlite fingerboard with pearl inlays starting at the third fret, small Gibson open book peghead, black peghead overlay with silver Gibson logo, multi-ply bell shaped truss rod cover, three per side Grover Mini Rotomatic tuning machines, serial number and Made in USA impressed into the back of the peghead, two metal strap buttons, LR Baggs pickup system and original brown Gibson branded hard shell case.

This 2019 Gibson J-45 Walnut M (Modern) is in excellent cosmetic condition showing very minimal signs of play wear throughout including one tiny ding on the front treble side of the body (see photos). The neck profile is that of a chunky C shape with a 1 11/16" nut width and feels fantastic in hand. The fret wire on this guitar shows virtually no signs of play wear and the frets have tons of life left in them. This guitar plays exceptional up and down the fingerboard. The saddle height and neck angle are optimal and this guitar has a very flat top. This Gibson J-45 has a very crisp yet dry and articulate tone with plenty of volume and complexity. The slightly thinner body size makes this guitar exceptionally comfortable to sit and pick and the treble side cutaway makes access to the upper register a breeze. The LR Baggs pickup system in this instrument sounds extremely good plugged in and accessing the volume control located in the soundhole is very easy.

This J-45 is perfectly suited for live performance or studio use and really makes a great songwriting companion. The guitar is housed in its original brown Gibson branded hard shell case that is perfect for travel.
