Here's a vintage original circa 1949 Gibson J-50 that sounds and plays just incredibly well with tone that is sweet, warm and resonant.
It's had a long life, but remains in good shape with some signs of wear. It's had a professional neck set to the benefit of the instrument. It appears someone has buffed out the original finish, the finish is the original finish. Several repaired back cracks. The batch number is circa 1951, but the features on the guitar like the square wooden bridge date it circa 1949.
Neck is nice and fat and feels fantastic in your hand. It plays real easy with a good, low action. Neck is straight with no buzz or issues.
A fantastic recording guitar, this is a real nice example perfect for the player and collector alike.
Comes with super cool original hard case, too.
