1967 J-50 /Gibson

The J-50 was introduced around 1946 as Gibson's flat-top guitar, and has been loved by many musicians to this day.
It is a natural-colored model of the J-45, and is so famous that its selling price at the time was higher than that of the J-45 because only the best-grained wood from the stock was used.

The one introduced here is made in 1967.
The head angle is 14 degrees and the nut width is 39.5mm.

The body has been played a lot, and the checkering and paintwork have a unique aura.

The narrow nut width, moderately round and thick neck is easy to grip,
The lightness of the chords when you strum chords such as strokes and cutting is one of the charms of this instrument.
This neck shape is also recommended for those who play chords with their thumbs.

The adjustable saddle has been replaced with a fixed saddle.
The sound of the narrow neck has been kept, but the bass is more robust than the adjustable saddle version.

The exterior of the guitar has the dignity commensurate with its age, but it is a gem with no cracks.
This guitar has been played for about 60 years.
