We haven't gotten a lot of really nice 70's Gibson acoustics in the last few years, this one- wow! This is one of the 2 nicest we have had, in 35 years of having a storefront (the other is a 70's J160E we just got!) It's really clean, virtually no fret wear and is a beautiful instrument. The serial number puts it at 1978. The neck angle had changed, so we took it to a Luthier we have used since the 80's and and had him work his magic, new saddle, set up, any loose braces addressed, just in general tuned it up. The bridge has not been sanded, they were a little thinner during this period. All stock. There was some minor touch up done around the neck joint, sometimes the 70's Gibson flattops are a little more involved getting the neck off, but looks fabulous. 25.4 scale, square shouldered and the nicest example I have ever seen, much less had in the shop. It had a non Gibson soft case, we found a worn but solid hard case, and that is included. Thanks for looking!
