1941 Gibson J-55

1941 Gibson J-55 excellent condition, FON 2670 G. Solid Jumbo Gibson with lots of tone and charisma. Beautiful checking throughout the finish as seen in photos, excellent playability due to a professional refret and neck reset. Warm sound that’s responsive and clear. A few side crack repairs, all are lined up and structurally sound. There is one piece of binding replaced on the treble side near the twelfth fret on the upper bout. Tuners are original and period correct, although at one point it looks like there was another set of tuning machines on. Overall a great playing Gibson Jumbo and a fine example of a J-55. Comes with the original hardshell case.
