. This 1970 Gibson square-shouldered dreadnought Blue Ridge has a Solid Spruce top and laminate Rosewood back and sides. The top has a black teardrop pickguard, below belly rosewood bridge- bone drop-in saddle, multi-ring rosette, interior Kalamazoo label, top and back binding of black w/b/w. The Mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with large MOP dot inlay. This guitar was professionally refretted not due to wear but to replace the original small/thin wire with a medium size fret bar, fingerboard and frets show Zero wear. The peghead has the “Gibson” logo decal, Kluson style gears with “Gibson Deluxe” and tulip metal buttons. Back of peghead stamp is: (2), sn AXXXXXX, and Made In USA. An older passive Barcus Berry pickup is attached inside top, standard jack input at rear. Specs: bone nut 1 10/16”, 25 ½” scale, body 16 ¼” wide. Excellent condition with a few small nick & pings, the finish is vibrant and I don’t see any of the typical Gibson checking. Period correct hardshell. A good playing-sounding- looking 1970 Gibson for not a fortune. Thanks, Pickers Paradise Guitars 251-937-0511
