A depression era wonder, the KG11 ...this example sports a crack free multi piece red spruce top with mahogany neck, back and sides and Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge with nut width of 1 3/4″. Acknowledged by both players and collectors as one of the very best finger picking blues guitars ever made!

To our way of thinking, the KG-11 was one of the best ideas Gibson ever had.

This one has been my personal player for a few years now and I have loved it. Sure the bridge was shaved before I got her and yes we put on the bone nut replacing the ebony to brighten her up a bit and yes those tuners aren't correct either, but so what ... they are certainly very cool. This is a true players guitar!

This particular example is all about tone and a perfect example of how the prettiest girl at the dance ain't always the best dancer.

Loud and punchy and perfect sound characteristics for finger style country blues picking or strumming in your favorite drop tunings, this one has the sustain!

Only some minor well repaired hairlines on the back but otherwise crack free with plenty of that Gibson sunburst Mojo!!

With original soft case or new hard if you choose.

Many more high resolution photos and lots of YouTube videos of this guitar at my website for you to hear for yourself just how great they sound.
