Description

All solid wood Gibson made vintage acoustic for a great price. Where else can you get old mahogany of this quality at a low price. 14.25 wide body. Nut width is just about 1.5 inches
3/32 String height at the 12th fret on both the high and low E strings, and it’s an easy to play guitar. This guitar has been well played over the years. It shows considerable wear to the finish and edges, but it is a great playing instrument.

Same model as the Gibson B-15 or LG-0 but without the plastic bridge. The best feature of these is that they have a comparatively small neck profile, which makes them fantastic entry level guitars, or quality instruments for those who don’t want a chunky neck profile. If you don’t have giant paws, this has the neck for you! The neck profile reminds me of a ’62 reissue Stratocaster.

Ladder braced, all mahogany, bridge plate is original and the bridge is solid.

The wood pickguard is a replacement for the standard screw on guard that was stock on these. Neck has probably been reset. Frets show wear but have lots of life left in them. The finish is dirty (mojo!) and pretty worn (vibe!). The edges on the back are rounded from use..this one has been around, but it’s a good guitar. The finish does clean up if you put the effort into it. Bridge appears all original with a wood saddle, and is the adjustable kind that Gibson used in the later 60’s. The back lower treble bout shows a chip from a bump at on point, the back has separated in a 1.5 inch area, but it’s an easy glue job. Bridge plate is original. Will ship in an oversized case.
