1931 Gibson L-00 Black

DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 1931 Gibson L-00 in Black! They don’t make them like they used to! We do our best to grab these pre war Gibsons when ever possible. They tend to always need a bit of TLC but they’re always worth it when the work is done. When we got this one it defiantly needed a little help. Its been freshly serviced and is ready to go!

Specs! This guitar is in good condition. It has had a neck reset. The bridge has been reglued. It has a new bone saddle. Top cracks have been glued and cleated. Some braces have been reglued. Nickel plate brass tuners. Ebony nut width measures 1.75″. The neck is mahogany and has a depth of .78″ at the first fret and 1.10″ at the twelfth fret. Scale length measures 24.75″. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. The original 20 small frets are in very good condition. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Finished in black. Rosewood bridge with a new bone saddle. Comes with its original soft shell case. Weighs 2 pounds and 13 ounces.

Who doesn’t love a 12th fret to the body pre war Gibson? This is one killer L-00. Extremely comfortable vintage feeling neck (on the slimmer side). The neck rest has it dialed in, making it easy to play up and down the neck. Beautiful warm tone. Subtle mix between crisp/percussive, lush/warm. It is very well balanced, no register is over whelming they all meld together to form one uniformed choir. We lucked out getting another awesome 30s Gibson in!
