Description

Tuxedo Black, why are these pre-war Gibsons so sought after? First: tone. These were simple budget-priced guitars but made of woods that are simply not available anymore. It’s all about the wood baby. Then the black ones look fantastic but they are the first-ever of the now legendary L-00 acoustic guitars. The sunburst models came next. This one is in remarkable condition with a Brazilian Rosewood bridge replacement done by the reputable Spruce Tree Music in Madison. They also reglued the braces. This was a long-held personal instrument from someone who worked in the guitar industry for decades. It is crack-free, original finish, and has very little fret wear ever after being 89 years old. We feel lucky to have it. Comes with the original soft shell case.
