A 1940s Gibson L-00 with a Sunburst top.
The L-00 was originally introduced by Gibson in 1932 as a less expensive version of the L-0. The L-00 continued production until 1945 and is now regarded as a highly desirable vintage Gibson model.
This guitar has had a professional re-fret and a number of other repairs including glued and cleated top cracks as well as repaired back/side separations. The guitar is structurally sound but somewhat fragile which is true of most acoustic guitars of this era. With a bit of TLC, this wonderful guitar should last another 80 years.
If you're interested in purchasing this guitar, please give us a call at the shop for an in-hand description.
