A 1916 Gibson L-1 in Natural finish.
Gibson introduced the L-1 in the early 1900s as an archtop guitar. In 1925 production was briefly discontinued and a year later, the L-1 was reintroduced as a flat top guitar. But in 1916, the L-1 was still an archtop guitar with a round soundhole and that's the version we proudly display here. A real piece of history and in very good vintage condition minus a repaired top crack and a few modifications, namely the tuners, nut, and some initials carved into the back of the headstock. The guitar has also been professionally refretted. Inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech. Comes with non-original Redline arched-lid hard shell case.
