Description

This one is all Original. A short 3/4 scale version of the LG-2, @ 23". She is one of the sweetest parlor type guitars around. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides and a rosewood bridge. There was a professional repair to the headstock at some point which was done extremely well. We've had our luthier look it over and it was done so well it has strengthened the overall neck. No signs of any weakness or impact to playability. Nearly seamless. The guitar plays beautifully and is extremely clean for being over 60+ years old. Just a couple of minor surface nicks and scratches, a small shallow crack on the back lower bout (not needing repair or impacting in any way), minimal crazing and a firm bridge. The wear and tear you would expect from am older instrument like this. Plenty of fret life left and a very comfortable set up. Serial #W-1274 22. Comes with newer fitted hard shell case. This is a very fun, smaller size, quality guitar. She's a great one to grab, pull out and just play. For a smaller instrument she has very full sound and a good bottom end. We think that is due to quality construction, age and materials. Also, a great guitar for a youth or someone who finds the jumbos just too hard to manage. This one is just plain fun to play. Also a great add to any collection. Only several hundred of these made in the early years. You won't beat this price on a quality instrument like this.
