Description

Here's a 1925 Gibson L-3 in Red Sunburst finish. With the exception of the tuner tips, all parts are original. The guitar measures 13 3/4" wide, and is 13 frets clear to the body, bound ebony fingerboard, herringbone sound hole ring, and trapeze tailpiece. There's some binding repair, and professionally repaired cracks. The crack repairs include one down the center seam just below the bridge, one at the neck heal, and two on the top sides by the neck heal. Everything is completely structurally sound and good to go. The guitar has the classic big 'ol L-3 neck. The V is not as pronounced as you find on earlier examples, but still a V profile. The guitar plays and sounds great! Easy playing action. And It's got that magical old timey blues sound. This one is tough to put down! HSC...
