Description

This appears to be a Gibson L-30 from 1939. It's essentially all original, but needs some work to bring it to playing condition again, so we're selling it as-is.
The body has cracks on the side, one on the top, and one on the back. The lower back brace is loose, and the back has wrinkled where it separated from the side. Removal of the back would easily address these issues.
The pick guard is in a state of decomposition, and will need to be replaced. The neck angle is good and will not need to be changed. There is some playing wear on the frets in the lower position, but will function fine.
Tailpiece and bridge are original. The tuners (stamped 'Kluson') are original and function well. It's a great old Gibson arch top from a period of fine materials and construction.
The guitar will need some work to get it right, but that is reflected in the price. Please contact us for more info or photos.
