1941 Gibson L-4 in very good condition. These are some of the best sounding least appreciated guitars Gibson ever made. The combination of long scale and 16" body with carved solid top is unique to a few batches pre and post war. We have had examples from this batch in 1941 and all the others from the same batch in 1946. The long scale maple neck with 16" body makes for a powerful and deep tone. Solid maple sides with laminate maple back. There is a delightful growl to the sound when played hard. The dynamic and tonal range of this guitar is special. Includes original hard case.
