Here’s an amazingly clean first year Gibson L-4C. Essentially an acoustic version of the ES-175 which was also introduced in 1949. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram pearloid inlays. Double bound body with sharp Florentine cutaway. Carved spruce top and arched back. Lower bout measures 16 inches, scale length of 24 3/4 inches, and nut width of 1 11/16 inches.
The pickguard was repaired and given a new wood backing, but otherwise, this guitar is totally original. Comes with a modern gigbag. Setup nicely and ready to go. This is a wonderful guitar in every way.
