1931 Gibson L-5 Sunburst, Very Good, Original Hard, $18,500.00
We have here a dot neck L-5 with a very modern neck shape, hand carved braces and pearl button tuners. These were made this way for a pretty brief time and are highly prized by players. The guitar shows noticeable playing wear but no abuse. The is a hairline crack under the tailpiece. The neck angle and playability are excellent. The sound is huge , with a big bass response added to a well balance treble and lots of volume. A repro pickguard is on order. We used to date thes at 1928 , but according to revised dating by a Joe Spann , this was shipped in 1931.

The customer pays all shipping costs,including return shipping if the instrument is rejected. For refunds, all instruments must be returned in the same condition I shipped them in and shipped the same way. Liability is up to the extent of my insurance coverage, which is usually repair plus depreciation,unless totalled.
