1973 Gibson L-5CES Archtop Electric Guitar!

On-Hold... This is a wonderful-playing L-5 from the early 70's by Gibson. This one has been played and shows plenty of wear but it's no wonder why. It's a great guitar! The guitar has had a neck reset in the past and is ready to go for many years. If you are a collector, this probably won't be for you. There are wear spots notably on the back and treble side.

The guitar is very original minus the pickguard and bridge top. The pickups are the original patent number sticker PAF's with original canned potentiometers. The bridge is original with a newer abr-1 type bridge. The pickguard is newer and not celluloid so should be good for a very long time unlike the original type. 1-11/16 inch nut width. Comes with an era non-original hardshell case. Luckily, these high-end L-5s have always been great quality in every era, including the Norlin era! Great opportunity to get an excellent Gibson L-5CES.
