1982 Gibson L-5 CES "Blonde"

The back of this stunning L-5 CES features one of the most beautiful and intricately figured pieces of flamed maple we've ever seen! This 1982 example was still made in Kalamazoo, Michigan using the same templates and tools used to craft the original 50's guitars. Produced in limited quantities, the L5 CES is now only available as a custom order from Gibson. This guitar is exceptionally clean and features a rare "Blonde" finish with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and a pair of fantastic sounding humbucking pickups. The L5 is in many ways the ultimate archtop design and a benchmark of Gibson's craftsmanship and innovation, and this Kalamazoo-made electric model from 1982 represents the end of an era.
