1957 Gibson L-5C in excellent condition. This is a super clean custom ordered Gibson L-5C that is in exceptional shape. This was owned and played by the guitarist in the 1950s band, the Ink Spots. Pickguard, tuners, and hardware are all original to the guitar. At one point a DeArmond pickup system was added, but has since been removed. Neck is very comfortable with an extra wide nut width; 1 ⅞”. A unique feature are the 24 frets. There is a repaired crack underneath the tail piece, other than that this guitar is in pristine condition. Projection on this instrument is fantastic, super resonant and clear. Comes with the original hardshell case.
