Here's a 1947 Gibson L-7 in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Exceptional playing & sounding example that's got some serious vibe! The tuners, bridge, and tailpiece are repro's. There's some professionally repaired cracks throughout the body, but everything is structurally sound and good to go! 17" body, 25 1/2" scale, solid hand carved figured maple back & sides, carved solid Adirondack spruce top, split-parallelogram mother of pearl inlays, crown headstock inlay, and script Gibson logo. At some point the neck was shaved down, to slightly contour the profile, by taking out some of the thickness. So it's a little flatter now, and more of a D shape (it's not thin). It's smooth as can be, and feels fantastic! The nut width was nut affected. Great neck angle, with consistent, fast playing low action from top to bottom. Tonally it's incredible: warm, clear, with big volume/projection. This one is tough to put down! Please note the pickguard is not included, as this is how we received the guitar. HSC included...
