This beauty appears to be an average ES-350 electric model, but in actuality, this cool Jazz box is one of the rarest guitars ever made by Gibson having a small production run of only 37 examples in 1949 sporting a factory McCarty pickgard assembly, she’s a fully electric L-7CED which stands for an L-7 Cutaway Electric w/Double pickups as she was special ordered that year, then she was sent back to the Gibson Factory c.1954 & had a pair of powerful black P-90 pickups added along with their modern 4 knob setup, originally made in 1949 to full L-7 specs having a carved Spruce top & fully carved maple back, sides & a fat 3 piece neck, she has a sweet bound rosewood fingerboard w/double parallelogram inlays, her original bound Tortoise’gard is still in excellent shape, she still sports her original Kluson tuners & nickel plated trapeze tailpiece, it still wears its original White oval label designating its serial # & model name, this L-7C Electric has had a very useful life as it has plenty of play wear & gobs of patina, overall she is excellent & otherwise, completely 100% original factory produced, it comes with its original Brown tolex/red lined hard case.
