Description

Inherited from his Grandfather, this guitar has sat as a PROJECT for 40 years.

In rough, rough, rough condition it is the carcass of a 1926 Gibson L1... one of the first Gibson flat tops.

Dry as a bone, cracks throughout and finish sanded away. This would be a MAJOR restoration job.

The back has a vertical open crack that runs the entire length of the back. Another back crack next to that is 4" long. The top has one 10" open crack. The fingerboard has a crack that runs down the entire center of the fingerboard top to bottom.

On the plus side, there are no side cracks... the tuners and bridge (which is unattached) look original and the logo on headstock is completely intact.

No case and no returns.
