1966 Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #133505. Custom-color 1966 Fender Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue. An early '66 model with a slightly beefier neck profile. The electronics are all original, with potentiometer date codes from the 4th and 10th weeks of 1966. The original grey-bottom pickups have 1966 date codes written on the bottom. A small rout in the cavity suggests a previous switch installation, though it has since been removed. The pickguard has been repaired from the modification. The finish is original, with the paint stick shadow in the neck pocket. Also written in the neck pocket are the numbers "7,xxx,xxx" and "2,xxx,xxx", possibly factory markings. The original frets show light to moderate wear but still have plenty of life left. The body has normal finish checking and buckle wear through the wood on the back. Includes the original case with the key. 7.4lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Good.
