This is one of the cleanest guitars I've ever gotten in: a one-owner 1998 Gibson Historic 1957/R7 Les Paul Custom with 3 Pickups, 100% original, just a few hours of playtime since 1998(and it looks it), just a few light scratches on the back, only a few scratches on the pickguard, no fret wear(frets are regular size, not the low frets like the vintage), this guitar is a Beautiful example of a Black Beauty Les Paul Custom.
Includes everything that came with the guitar when purchased new: the Gibson pack, which includes adjustment instructions, Polish Cloth, cable, and OHSC, which is the textured black finish case which the Gibson Custom Shop used for the Les Pauls from 1998-2001. These are the finest Les Paul cases that Gibson ever used - they currently and typically sell for around $500 in this condition! No COA, as Gibson only started using COAs in 2001. Serial # 7 8051 and LPB7 model name on back of warranty booklet(see pic).
The PUPs are 57 Classic PAF Reissues and measure 8.30K, neck depth on this guitar is the sweet spot found on mid-59 Gibsons(.89/1st - .98/12th): .89/1st and 1.00/12th.
The weight is Under 10 lbs and typical for the all-hog Les Paul Custom model..........
