Description

Once in a while, we have an instrument come in that leaves us truly speechless, and right now it’s this insanely clean and unbelievably rare 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special in TV Yellow with a factory-installed Bigsby! This guitar never had the stop tail bushings drilled, and has sported this original Bigsby since it left the factory almost 70 years ago! As far as we’re aware, this is the only Les Paul Special like this out there, and we’re so very happy to have it. It feels amazing in the hand, and even unplugged each note sustains loudly. The ‘Limed Mahogany’ finish has nicely yellowed with time and shows hardly any wear besides weather checking and some light edgewear. These two nicely paired P-90s make this guitar soar high and snarl low. This Specual really would be the highlight of anyone’s collection!

Overall Condition: 9.5, Excellent Condition, weather checking, very light edgewear
