Description

This 1962 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard in Cherry features a beautiful and rare factory Ebony Block! The original owner, Stan Johnson, really cared about this guitar and even had the truss rod cover engraved with his name and the year, 1963. He had a hard time getting used to the tremolo system it seems, as he sent it back to the factory for an intonation inspection. Upon getting it back he received a letter straight from Gibson stating that the guitar was functioning as intended. That letter, as well as a slew of other case candy, is included with this guitar. This guitar has been refretted and has a new nut. The toggle switch had also been changed long ago for a metal one.

Overall Condition: 7.5
