Description

Here's a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. Early 1st year example, with no serial number, an unbound neck, and diagonal pickup screws on the bridge P-90! The guitar is ultra resonant, and an overall outstanding playing & sounding Les Paul. Its had a headstock repair, that's been professionally repaired from our in-house luthier. It's completely sealed and secure. The pickups, trapeze tailpiece, pickguard & bracket, frets, and truss rod cover are all original to the guitar. The tuners, selector switch, pots, caps, knobs, and jackplate are all repro's. The 3rd fret inlay is also replaced. The pots are CTS 500k's, while the caps are reissue Bumblebees. The neck plays like butter, with consistent low action down the board. The first 5 frets have some wear, but there's still good life left on all of them. The pickups sound GREAT! They're full, balanced, responsive, and have a ton of character. The finish also couldn't have aged any cooler. That, mixed with the horizontal checking, give the guitar an incredible amount of vibe!! High quality aftermarket hard shell included...
