Description

Bay Area Vintage Guitars proudly offers this fabulous, ALL-GOLD, all-original example of a first-year 1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop!

It is in very good condition with some finish wear (especially on the neck that shows how much this guitar was played and enjoyed!), checking, and dings from 70+ years of Blues and Rock 'n' Roll. It features a well-playing, chunky ’'50s neck and sounds incredible with the original P-90 pickups, producing punchy mids with an excellent dynamic response. It features a rich, dark, all-gold finish and all original electronics, frets, nut, and trapeze bridge. The only exception to the originality is that there were different tuners on the guitar at some point. The original Kluson tuners are now re-installed and work great. It weighs in at a solid 10 lbs, 2 oz.

I have a MojoAxe bridge and custom trapeze piece for improved playability for an extra $625 (I never installed it to show this beauty in all-original condition).

Includes the original Lifton hardshell case with the original strap and key!

We added additional photos with a black light to confirm the originality of the finish.

Please look at all photos closely, as they are part of the description and are of the actual item you will receive. Please reach out with any questions.
