Late 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard. Gold Top. Gold Grover tuners, light weight aged Mojoaxe bridge and studs, expert refret with late '59 style frets, Brass nut, repro jack plate. Original all gold finish and everything else including the case is original. No cracks or repairs. Included is a Gold Badass bridge ( 70's ) and the original studs. Very light weight. This LP weighs 8 1/2 lbs. and it sings. I've played a lot of reissues and they're nice guitars. Gibson did a great job on them, but I never heard a P-90 Gold Top, including '68s and '69s, that got close to the sound of a '50s Gold Top. If you like to play slide, this one will give you chills. You can pay more and get a cleaner one but why was this GT played so much? Because it's super light weight and it sounds and plays so good! OHC. " GREAT GUITAR"
Personal checks are fine. Out of state checks clear in a day or two now. Wire transfers will work. Sorry, no credit cards.
UPS mainly. In 40 years I've had one claim and they paid it. I don't like Fed Ex but I'll use them if you want. Don't expect them to pay a claim on a vintage guitar. Proper packing will prevent problems. You got to double box expensive guitars and amps.
I don't buy anything I wouldn't want for myself. It's very rare I'll buy something that's not 100% original, but if it has changed tuner buttons or been refretted, I'll tell you. Detailed, accurate descriptions only. I go to a lot of trouble to pack this stuff right for shipping so it will arrive undamaged. I sell only really nice amps, fully serviced, no return on amps.
