Description

This 1954 Gibson Les Paul “All Gold” looks fantastic, all worn in! While most Goldtops received their iconic aureate color on top alone, All Gold Les Pauls feature a golden finish applied to their entire body: back, neck, and headstock included! This particular finish has deepened in color with age and features its fair share of checking and play wear throughout. There is some verdigris present, and the majority is concentrated on the back of the neck, providing that greenish gold tarnish that makes this finish so cool. It plays incredibly, and for lack of a better descriptor, this guitar is super vibey in every way possible. It has received a pro-refret to keep its playing in top shape, and aside from this, has a repro poker chip and period-correct replaced jack plate. Otherwise, this baby is all original and ready for its next home. Someone’s got to continue turning this golden neck green!

Overall Condition: 6.5, heavy wear throughout the neck and finish checking
