Description

Here's a 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony finish. This is a transitional late '68/early '69. No breaks, cracks, repairs. 1 piece body, 1 piece neck, maple top, with '68 pots, and Pat No Stamped pickups. As fine as an example that we've ever seen! Besides some buckle rash, the guitar is in really nice shape. Its had a professional re-fret, as the original owner didn't like the original "fretless wonder" style frets. There's also currently a repro input jack on, but the original is included. Incredible playing & sounding guitar!! The neck has a full, round profile, and plays exceptional from top to bottom. Acoustically loud & resonant. Both humbuckers are strong, full, with beautiful clarity. The guitar sounds huge. Really special piece. OHSC included!

Before shipping, all guitars & basses receive a fresh, deep clean, along with a pro setup to your spec's! We are an appointment only store. All instruments are handled by SS Vintage employees only.
