2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic Tobacco Sunburst

For your consideration a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic with a Tobacco Sunburst finish. Can you believe this guitar is 20 years old? If you like Classic Les Paul heft and tone this one’s for you! Perfect action, 4/64″ straight across. Upgraded in the best ways: new bone nut and a killer set of Seymour Duncan pickups. A fantastic Les Paul for those not afraid of good old fashion weight. There is an area near the heel with darker finish that continues around the sides. At first we thought it was a repair, but appears to be factory finsh!

Specs!

This guitar is in very good condition. Comes with a non-original hard shell case. Non-original bone nut with a 1-11/16″ nut width. Gibson Deluxe keystone tuners. Lots of checking on Gibson logo on headstock. Mahogany neck with a depth of .80″ (1st fret) and .91″ (12th fret). 24.75″ scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. Action measures 4/64″ straight across. 22 large frets are currently in excellent condition. Maple top on a Mahogany body. Tobacco Sunburst. The pickup and wiring have been upgraded. Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck and Duncan JB in the bridge. ABR-1 reissue bridge with stop bar tail piece. The plastic parts have been replaced with black plastic parts (toggle switch, toggle ring). The hole where the pick guard was have been filled. Weighs 10 pounds and 8 ounces.
